To further leverage the role of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) as an international procurement platform and facilitate precise matching and procurement transactions, the Important Buyer Sourcing Fair of the 8th China International Import Expo will be held from November 6 to 8 in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This event is co-hosted by the China International Import Expo Bureau, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

The event focuses on sectors including fruits and vegetables and agricultural products, dairy products, alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea and beverages, meat and aquatic products, snacks and confectionery, comprehensive food, beauty and daily chemicals, home appliances and household products, as well as health and nutrition products. It will feature a series of specialized sessions, such as the Supermarket & Convenience Store Sourcing Session, E-commerce Platform Sourcing Session, New Retail Channel Sourcing Session, and Catering Enterprise Sourcing Session.

The event adopts an online + offline dual-track matching model. Online, relying on the "Digital CIIE" platform, it will collect procurement needs and exhibitor product lists in advance to achieve intelligent matching. Offline, a "Procurement Demand Wall" and exclusive docking seats for buyers will be set up, and multiple rounds of one-on-one negotiations will be organized to help exhibitors—especially small and medium-sized enterprises and pavilion-based enterprises—precisely connect with the Chinese market.

A Buyer Promenade will also be launched during the same period, where approximately 20 high-quality buyers will be selected to set up booths, showcasing their corporate images and procurement needs throughout the event.
