I. Vacancy Information

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (hereinafter referred to as CCPIT) plans to fill 6 vacancies for its staff in 2027. All candidates must apply with their major field of study.

1. Department of Development Research, Level I Principal Staff Member and below (2 openings). Master’s degree or above required. Eligible majors: Vehicle Engineering, New Energy Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Control Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Intelligent Science and Technology, Economic Statistics, World Economy, International Trade, International Economy and Trade, Trade Economics, International Economic Development Cooperation, Digital Economy.

2. Human Resources Department, Level I Principal Staff Member and below (1 opening). Master’s degree or above required. Eligible majors: Intelligent Science and Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Vehicle Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Data Science and Big Data Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Computer Applied Technology, Software Engineering, Resources and Environment.

3. Liaison Department (Foreign Affairs Office), Level I Principal Staff Member and below (2 openings). Master’s degree or above required. Eligible majors: International Trade, International Economy and Trade, Trade Economics, International Economic Development Cooperation, Diplomacy, English, English Language and Literature, Translation (English), Business English, English Translation (Written), English Interpretation, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Electronic Science and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering.

4. International Cooperation Department, Level I Principal Staff Member and below (1 opening). Master’s degree or above required. Eligible majors: Regional Economics, International Trade, International Economy and Trade, International Business, International Law, Jurisprudence, Diplomacy, International Affairs and International Relations, English, English Language and Literature, Business English, Translation (English), English Translation (Written), English Interpretation, Area Studies.

5. Exhibition Administration Department (China International Exhibition Bureau & World Expo Affairs Office), Level I Principal Staff Member and below (1 opening). Master’s degree or above required. Eligible majors: Law (030101K), Legal Theory, Economic Law, International Law, Jurisprudence, Juris Master, Architecture, Management Science and Engineering, Engineering Audit, Statistics.

6. Overseas Representative Office, Level I Principal Staff Member and below (1 opening). Master’s degree or above required. Eligible majors: Industrial Economics, International Trade, International Economy and Trade, Trade Economics, International Economic Development Cooperation, International Business, Legal Theory, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Civil and Commercial Law, International Economic and Trade Rules, Procedural Law, Economic Law, International Law, Jurisprudence, Juris Master, Intellectual Property, Russian Language and Literature, French Language and Literature, Arabic Language and Literature.

II. Eligibility Requirements

(1) Foreign Language Proficiency

• Vacancies in the Department of Development Research and the Exhibition Administration Department (China International Exhibition Bureau & World Expo Affairs Office): Candidates shall satisfy one of the two criteria: ① CET-6 score ≥550; or TEM-8 certificate; or IELTS ≥7.0; or TOEFL iBT ≥100 (IELTS/TOEFL scores are permanent, no expiry date). ② TEM-4 certificate in Japanese, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Korean, or Arabic; or academic degree in Portuguese, Italian or Polish; or academic degree awarded in one of the above 10 language countries/regions with instruction delivered in the corresponding language. Candidates must state the name and score of the language test, or specify overseas degree information in the remarks column of the application form. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

• Vacancies in the Human Resources Department and Overseas Representative Office: Candidates shall satisfy one of the two criteria: ① CET-6 score ≥550; or TEM-8 certificate; or IELTS ≥6.5; or TOEFL iBT ≥90 (IELTS/TOEFL scores are permanent, no expiry date). ② TEM-4 certificate in Japanese, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Korean, or Arabic; or academic degree in Portuguese, Italian or Polish; or academic degree awarded in one of the above 10 language countries/regions with instruction delivered in the corresponding language. Candidates must state the name and score of the language test, or specify overseas degree information in the remarks column of the application form. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

• Vacancies in the Liaison Department (Foreign Affairs Office) and International Cooperation Department: Candidates must hold a TEM-8 certificate (Grade Good or above), or CET-6 ≥600, or IELTS ≥7.5, or TOEFL iBT ≥105 (IELTS/TOEFL scores are permanent, no expiry date). Candidates must state the name and score of the English test in the remarks column of the application form; otherwise, they will be deemed ineligible.

(2) Grassroots Work Experience

No grassroots work experience requirement for all vacancies.

(3) Political Status

• Vacancy of the Human Resources Department: Member of the Communist Party of China (including probationary CPC member).

• Vacancies of the Department of Development Research, Exhibition Administration Department (China International Exhibition Bureau & World Expo Affairs Office), and Overseas Representative Office: Member of the Communist Party of China (including probationary CPC member) or member of the Communist Youth League of China.

• No restriction for other vacancies.

(4) Notes for Applicants with Overseas Education

Applicants with overseas education must obtain the Verification Certificate for Overseas Academic Degrees issued by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) for their highest degree before the interview, and also hold a domestic bachelor’s degree. If the Verification Certificate for Overseas Academic Degrees cannot be obtained before the interview, applicants may not register with a lower-level major and degree. Failure to present the verification certificate for the highest degree at the interview will lead to cancellation of interview eligibility.

III. Professional Competency Test

All shortlisted interview candidates shall take a professional competency test during the interview phase. The test accounts for 15% of the overall composite score. It includes written Chinese test, written English test and oral English test. Further details will be announced separately.

IV. Overseas Work Requirement

Staff recruited for all six vacancies shall accept organizational assignment and be ready to work at CCPIT overseas representative offices at any time.
