Following the 2026 Asset Management Technology Innovation Season, co-organized by the Asset Management Association of Shanghai (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and the Lujiazui Administration in October, the Association will host two major events in November during the Global Asset Management Center Shanghai International Week. It will co-host the AI Reshaping Investment Management Forum with Hongkou District, and the 1024 Investment Technology Developer Conference (ITDC2026) with the Lin-gang Special Area.

The 2026 Asset Management Technology Innovation Season is jointly organized by the Lujiazui Administration, the Asset Management Association of Shanghai and the Intelligent Investment Research Technology League (ITL). Centered on the theme The Era of Super Intelligent Agents – Inclusive Wealth and Asset Management, the event brought together tech experts from the Digital Intelligence Expert Pool of the Association and ITL, including Ant Group, Tencent Technology, Zhipu AI, Moonshot AI (Kimi), Caiyue Starry and Entropy Jane Technology.

Officials from the Financial Work Office of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Financial Work Office of CPC Pudong New Area Committee, the Lujiazui Administration, the Asset Management Association of Shanghai and ITL attended the event. Experts from the expert pool delivered keynote speeches covering the development of enterprise-level financial intelligent agent infrastructure, equal access to investment research information and methodologies, popularization of institutional research capabilities, empowerment of asset management by large language models, new paradigms of AI-driven investment research, and digital wealth management services. They showcased the pathway for translating intelligent agent technologies from model capabilities into real business applications.

The Association stated that it will pursue the goal of building a Digital Intelligence Association, continuously advance the development of AI + Asset Management (AIAM)  strengthen cooperation between fintech firms and asset management institutions, and build more high-quality industry exchange platforms. It will fully support the digital upgrading of asset management technology across the “One City, One Belt, One Bay, One District” asset management cluster and strive to raise the global profile of the AIAM initiative within the international asset management industry.
