At the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE), slated to be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, Bailian Group will join forces with its affiliated enterprises to make a collective appearance at the Consumer Goods Exhibition Area, building a 1,000-square-meter booth branded the bálancing.

Since the inaugural CIIE in 2018, Bailian Group has participated in the Expo for consecutive years acting as both an exhibitor and a purchaser to deepen its engagement with the event. As of the 8th CIIE, the group had secured 170 intended procurement projects covering food, consumer goods, medical devices and other sectors. At the 8th edition alone, it signed 29 intended procurement deals, forging long-term and stable cooperative ties with numerous overseas brand owners. It has consistently facilitated the transformation of exhibition displays into marketable commodities, fully unlocking the spillover effects of the CIIE’s "6 Days + 365 Days" one-stop trading service platform中国国际进....

To fully amplify the Expo’s spillover dividends, Bailian Group has deployed 49 departure tax refund service outlets across Shanghai, 19 of which provide convenient Refund-Upon-Purchase instant tax refund services国家税务总.... Two flagship malls under the Group — Yaohan and Bailian Chuansha Shopping Center — serve as centralized tax refund hubs in Shanghai, enabling overseas consumers to complete tax refund formalities efficiently within 10 to 15 minutes. Bailian Co., Ltd. has also launched a special campaign to upgrade cross-border consumption services covering core stores including No.1 Department Store, Yaohan, Wing On Department Store and Bailian Qingpu Outlets. Notably, Bailian Qingpu Outlets recorded a 228% year-on-year surge in departure tax refund transaction slips and a 182% year-on-year jump in refund turnover in the first half of this year, serving as a vivid example of how the CIIE’s spillover effects fuel urban consumption growth.

At the critical sprint stage for preparations for the 9th CIIE, Bailian Group stated that it will partner with industrial peers to advance high-quality integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, and support Shanghai’s accelerated development into an international consumption hub with global influence.
